Robbie Brady is an Irish footballer, currently playing for Burnley. Brady grew up in Ireland and played for St. Kevin´s Boys where he got scouted by a big English team named Manchester United.
He signed for United´s academy team in 2008. Brady only made one appearance for the Red Devils in a 2-1 win over Newcastle in 2012 where he came on as a substitute for Alexander Buttner in the 86th minute.
Manchester United loaned Brady out on two occasions and he spent a back-to-back seasons at Hull City as a loanee. Supporters loved Brady as a player both on and off the pitch. Robbie has been named the FAI Under-21 International Player of the Year twice in his career in 2011 and in 2012. He played at Hull in the 2011-12 season and the 2012-13 season so Hull City had an amazing impact for the young player.
Brady made a permanent move to Hull City in the winter transfer window in 2013 and played there until 2015. Robbie Brady started the 2013-14 season amazingly, scoring a few goals in a short amount of time but then he got injured, he then underwent two separate groin operations which made him miss most of the rest of the season. Brady´s last season was the 2014-15 campaign, he managed to score three goals for the Tigers and was very consistent that season but Hull City got relegated, finishing 18th in the league only three points behind Aston Villa who finished 17th.
After Hull City got relegated many teams showed interest in Robbie Brady and he decided to sign for Norwich City in the summer transfer window in 2015. He signed a 3 year contract with the Canaries.
Brady got to a great start scoring early in the season for Norwich against West Ham United in a 2-2 draw. He was solid throughout the season for Norwich. The best thing about Brady is how consistent he is and he doesn't often have a bad game. If he does, then he´ll be extraordinary in the next one.
The season for Norwich wasn't as good as fans and players hoped for. Norwich finished in the 19th place and got relegated after just one season in the top division in England. This relegation made it a back-to-back relegation for Robbie Brady but it didn't stop him from leaving Norwich as he played in the Championship the next season.
In the 2016-17 season, Brady started the season in the second division well as he´d always done. He scored his first goal of the season with a 25-yard strike in the top left corner against Wolves. Brady would score another goal in November in a 3-2 defeat to Leeds United.
Brady got sent off in a 0-0 draw against Brentford on 31 December and he received a three match suspension. He played three matches in the month of January, scoring one goal. He played his last game for Norwich on 28 January in a 2-0 win over Birmingham City where he managed to get an assist.
Brady got sold to Burnley on 31 January for about 13 million pounds, making it a club record signing. He signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with an option of another year.
Brady got on to a great start for the Premier League side, scoring a 20-yard free kick in his second match for the club. Brady has been very good since signing for Burnley but a few injuries have made it more difficult for him to reach his full potential for the Clarets.
