James Tarkowski is an English player who plays for Burnley in England. He plays as a central defender in his team.
Early and personal life: Tarkowski was born in Manchester, England, and grew up in a small neighborhood called New Moston. He went to school in New Moston called New Moston Primary School. He was a fan of Manchester United when he was a small kid, and looked up to Beckham and Paul Scholes.
Early Career: James Tarkowski joined the League One Club Oldham Athletic on a two-year scholarship in May 2009. He started playing for a reserve team in October 2009 as a centre back. He performed very well and was then called for the first time into the main team for league match against Plymouth Argyle on January 15, 2011. He played 72 games and scored 5 goals for Plymouth Argyle.
Brentford: Tarkowski decided to move over to Brentford. He signed a three-and-a-half-year contract on 31 January 2014. Tarkowski finally begins his first game for Brentford in a 0-0 draw against Carlisle United on 1 March 2014. Tarkowski scored his first goal for Brentford in his third game in a 2-0 win against Tranmere Rovers on 11 March 2014. Four days later they played against Leyton in a 1-0 victory. Tarkowski was unlucky in that game and got his first red card in his career. Tarkowski followed his team up to the Championship Division on April 18th 2014. He played at Brentford for two years and played 70 games and scored 4 goals for the club.
Burnley: On 1 February 2016, Tarkowski signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Championship club Burnley for an undisclosed fee. Tarkowski played his first game for Burnley on February 20, 2015 against Rotherham United, after arriving from the bench. Tarkowski was starting to play in the starting line-up because Michael Keane was injured. They were unbeatable when Tarkowski entered the starting team. Burnley was so good in that season they went through the league and played in Barclays Premier League next season. Tarkowski was handed the captain's bracelet for Burnley's 1-0 extra-time defeat to fourth-tier Accrington Stanley in the EFL Cup on 24 August. During the summer transfer window Michael Keane left the club to Everton. After that the door opened for Tarkowski and has become one of the most important players in the Burnley team. Today he still plays with Burnley and is doing well. Tarkowski are doing great things for Burnley and is the defensive act of the team. He has played 52 games for Burnley.
