Timothy Fosu-Mensah is a professional football player who currently is on loan at Crystal Palace from Manchester United, he was born in 1998 and is 20 years old. His favorite position is at right back but he can also play in center back or as a center defensive midfielder. Fosu Mensah started his youth career at Ajax but then moved to Manchester United in 2014, then he was only 15 years old. He made his debut with United’s first team in 2016 only 18 years old, he came on in a 3-2 at Old Trafford against Arsenal. Since then he has played 12 games with the professional team.
On the 10th of august Fosu-Mensah signed a one year loan contract with Crystal Palace, his previous boss Frank De Boer was then the manager of Palace, the funny thing is that De Boer coached Fosu-Mensah when he was at Ajax. Fosu has played 19 games for Crystal Palace and he has mainly played at right back which is his preferred position. Many has praised Fosu on how he has played for Palace and it has been said that he is a certain replacement for Antonio Valencia when he retires.
Fosu-Mensah has played for the under 15, under 16, under 17 and even under 19. He was finally offered to play for the senior team for friendlies against the Republic of Ireland, Poland and Austria. Even though he was eligible play for Ghana through his parents, he still chose the Netherlands, for that he was rewarded a spot in the senior team squad on 28 of august 2017 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against France and Bulgaria. He made his first senior appearance for the Netherlands on the 31 of august 2017 against France. Even
