Carlos Tévez is an argentinian footballer who currently plays for Boca Juniors in his home country, he also started his career at Boca, he then moved to brazil to play for Corinthians and after a good performance there where he scored 25 goals in 38 games he moved to England to play for West Ham United. Tévez was then at the biggest stage in the world playing in the Premier League. He scored only 7 goals in 17 games but despite that he was bought by the giants Manchester United for 20
million euros.
Manchester United
In 2007 Carlos Tévez whent on a loan from West Ham to Manchester United. He made his Manchester debut on 15th August when he started for injured Wayne Rooney in a 1-1 draw against Portsmouth. After he scoerd his first goal for the club on 23 September in a 2-0 win against Chelsea, Ferguson confimed that the club wanted to sign him.
He scored a total of 19 goals in 63 apperances, he won the Champions League, two Premier League titles, one English League cup winner,one FIFA club world cup winner and two English Super cup winner, all that in just three years in Manchester United.
Manchester City
On the 14th of july in 2009 Tévez was bought by United rivals, Manchester City for a value of 47 million euros which was a record at that time in the british transfer market, Tévez scored his first goal for City on the 27th of august in a 2-0 win against Blackburn Rovers, he kept scoring for city that season and earned a player of the month award in december and kept that form the way out his City’s career. He ended up scoring 58 goals in 113 games, with City he won the Premier League in 2012 and the community sheild the following year.
Juventus
Tévez was sold in 2013 from City to Juventus for a reported fee of only 12 million euros and he performed decently in italy where he scored 39 goals in 66 games, in his first season he even became Juventus top scorer. All these goals are a contribution which helped Juventus win the Seria A twice, they won two different cup trophies in Italy.
