Alexis Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez is a 29 years old professional football player. He was born in Tocopilla, Chile 19th December 1988. When he was just 17 years old he joined Udinese but he was loaned to Colo-Colo and River-Plate the next two seasons. After two seasons on loan, he came back to Udinese and the next three years he was a regular first 11 player for the team.

In the summer of 2011, he became the most expensive Chilean player when Barcelona bought him in the summer transfer window. On his first season for Barcelona, he won four titles playing alongside David Villa and Lionel Messi and the manager was Pep Guardiola. But the next season was even better for him and the team when they won La Liga and many other trophies. His third and last season for Barcelona he scored 21 goals and provided 14 assist his personal best season in his professional career. After the third season Barcelona bought Neymar from Santos and sold Alexis to Arsenal, that was pretty strange because he had a brilliant season his best so far.

At Arsenal, Alexis became a key player for the Gunners. Alexis completed every season with Arsenal with double figures in both goals and assist. The season 2016-17 was his best as a professional but he scored 30 goals and assisted 14 that season. In this month he gave up on Arsenal and joined Manchester United on a swap deal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan. He refused to sign a new contract with Arsenal and wanted changes. Mourinho was very happy to sign him and called him one of the best-attacking players in the world. His debut could be this afternoon against Yeovil Town at Huish Park. It´s clear he brings more quality to the squad.
