Sørloth is a young striker born in 1995 who was bought by Crystal Palace recently for a fee of about nine million pounds.
Who is Alexander Sørloth? He is a tall prolific finisher born in Trondheim on the 5th of December 1995. He began his professional career for Rosenborg in 2012, Scored 18 goals in 46 games for the second team and broke on into the first team.
Then in 2015 he was loaned to Bodø/Glimt who where in the first division of Norwegian football. He had a breakout year scoring 13 times in 26 games for the side. He has so far played for every single Norwegian youth national team and 12 times for the senior team.
After that fantastic season in 2015 FC Groningen came in and bought the up and coming striker for 750.000 euros. He did not live up to the expectations there scoring only 5 goals in about 40 games.
Surprisingly the next year FC Midtjylland signed him on a four-year contract and after only half a season there he has scored ten goals in only nineteen games. On deadline day in 2018 Crystal Palace managed to sign him for nine millions plus ad-ons. Crystal Palace have got them self’s a unique striker who is 194cm tall, fast, strong and a great finisher.
There have been some ups and downs in the young players career so far but his recent form got him a dream move to the Premier League, the 22 year old has everything going for him now and lets hope he can help Crystal Palace survive the relegation battle this year. He has tremendous potential and could be a name to remember in the footballing world.
