Alan Pardew

Alan Scott Pardew is an English football manager who is currently the manager of West Bromwich Albion. He is a former Professional player who played for clubs such as Crystal Palace and Reading. Pardew has not achieved very much over his managing career but he has reached the FA cup finals three times both as a player and as a manager.

In his managing career he started as a Caretaker for Reading in March 1998. In 1999 Pardew was appointed manager of Reading after his successful run as a caretaker. That year he did well for the team as the team finished 4th in division 1.

Early in the season 03-04 West Ham tried to sign Alan as their manager. First they refused but eventually they agreed to make Alan Pardew the new manager of West Ham. In the 2006 – 2007 season Alan was sacked from West Ham as the team had their worst run in 70 years. Two weeks later Pardew was signed by Charlton Athletic, that year he got relegated with the team.

On November 22 2008, Pardew parted away from the team as the fans were singing ‘’We Want Pardew out’’. The following year Pardew was signed by Southampton. Alan did alright but he was sacked in 2010 because of a poor relationship with the chairman.

In December, Pardew was signed by Newcastle. He was at Newcastle for 5 years. He did pretty mediocre but in his final year for Newcastle in 2014; he won The Premier League manager of the year award.

On January 3 2015 he was signed by Crystal Palace. He did pretty badly as he only won 6 matches of 36 played in 2016. He was dismissed that year as the chairman said: expansive style of football hasn't worked". On November the 29th 2017 he was signed by West Bromwich Albion were he still is today. He has been just okay for the team from what we have seen.
